Neuromod Medical is a centre of excellence, wholly focussed on providing quick and easy access to personalised tinnitus care for patients in-clinic or online.
The clinic opened in 2019 and is led by our Clinical Director, Caroline Hamilton, an audiologist with more than 20 years’ experience working in the healthcare system. The clinic’s telehealth service launched in 2021 as a dedicated online service for people with tinnitus.
Neuromod Medical is owned by Neuromod Devices, which specialises in non-invasive neuromodulation technologies and has designed and developed Lenire, the first non-invasive bimodal neuromodulation tinnitus device which has been clinically proven in large-scale clinical trials to soothe tinnitus symptoms.

Neuromod Medical provides online and in-clinic tinnitus assessments and specialised treatment plans including Lenire and Tinnitus Therapy.
To get started, you can book your free introductory call with our team for a date and time that suits you. We’ll confirm some details and get a better understanding of your experience with tinnitus via a secure video call.
Then we’ll discuss the suitability of our treatment options for you and give you a chance to ask questions about the treatment.
You’ll get information about the assessment process so you can decide if an in-clinic assessment at Neuromod Medical or an online assessment via video call with our audiologists is best for you.
Meet the Team
Caroline Hamilton, BSc (Aud), MSc (Neuro) is a leader in the field of tinnitus treatment and research.
Caroline has dedicated her nearly 20-year career in audiology to assessing and treating adults and children with hearing needs. Caroline specialises and is an expert in treating people living with tinnitus.
Caroline is the lead audiologist and clinical researcher with Neuromod Devices Ltd, treating more than 600 patients in four clinical trials. She was instrumental in securing CE mark certification for the Lenire® tinnitus treatment system. Prior to joining Neuromod, Caroline established and was Chief Audiologist in a successful audiology clinic and spent nearly seven years working as an audiologist with the Health Service Executive (HSE), the public health system in Ireland. Caroline is an active member of Irish Society of Hearing Aid Audiology and Irish Academy of Audiology.
Senior Clinical Audiologist
Christy Reynolds, B.CommunicationPathology (Aud) is a clinical audiologist with more than 7 years of experience in various clinical settings.
She graduated from the University of Pretoria, South Africa, and has worked in both the public and private sector in South Africa as well as the private sector in Ireland. She had vast experience working with both adults and paediatrics before deciding to focus on patients with tinnitus.
Christy is committed to delivering patient-centred care, while staying up to date with the latest research. She is a member of the Irish Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists.
As the Senior Clinical Audiologist, Christy is responsible for seeing patients in the clinic (during assessments, fitting, and review appointments) and responding to patient queries and feedback via email or telephone.
Senior Clinical Audiologist
Anita Sayers BSc (Physiology), MSc (Audiology) joined the Neuromod Medical team in August 2020. She began her career as an Audiologist with the national health service (NHS) upon completion of her degree from Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh.
Anita has experience in assessing and treating the hearing needs of both adult and children populations and is particularly interested in working with those living with tinnitus. She is committed to providing high quality evidence-based care for the management and treatment of tinnitus. Anita is a member of the Irish Academy of Audiology, as well as the British Academy of Audiology.
Karen Murray, MIACP, BA (Integrative Psychotherapy), PG Dip (CBT) is a psychotherapist with extensive experience, having spent many years with Pieta, an organisation that offers support and therapy to those presenting with suicide ideation, self-harm and those bereavement by suicide.
Prior to this Karen worked in a range of clinical settings including a community based multi-purpose programme with people & their families involved & affected by substance abuse.
Karen has worked with a broad spectrum of clients from different age groups, presenting issues and a variety of cultures. Karen’s academic background is based on an Integrative, Solution Focused, CBT approach and she is an accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy.
Helen MacMahon MSc (Audiology) is a clinical audiologist with a particular interest in tinnitus and tinnitus management. She has varied experience working in the Irish public healthcare system (HSE) in both paediatric and adult settings.
Helen has a keen interest in audiological and neurological research and is a published author in the Irish Journal of Medical Science. Helen is committed to providing high quality patient-centred care. She is also a member of the British Academy of Audiology and the Irish Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists.
Ciara O’Connor, BSc (Intl Dev), MSc (Public Health-Health Protection Specialisation) is an experienced clinical professional with a passion for working with people living with tinnitus.
For six years prior to Neuromod Medical, Ciara held the position of Clinical Research Associate with Neuromod. She has worked with more than 600 participants in tinnitus research trials overseeing fitting of the Lenire tinnitus system, demonstrating its use and ensuring patient comfort.
Ciara has a passion for exceptional customer service and user experience. Prior to Neuromod, Ciara worked within the public health sector in numerous health protection and infection control organisations in Ireland and overseas in East Africa.
Grace Kelly coordinates all administrative, appointment management and payments at the Neuromod Medical.
Grace joined Neuromod Devices at the start of the TENT-A2 clinical trial and worked to ensure that all 191 volunteers could attend their treatment and follow up visits seamlessly and efficiently. Grace’s passion is to ensure that all visitors to Neuromod Medical can expect the highest standard of professionalism and excellence prior to and after their assessment and treatment appointments. Grace has more than 10 years’ experience supporting teams in large regulated corporations with increasing responsibility for document and appointment management systems.
Samantha joined Neuromod Medical in January 2021 as a Patient Coordinator with Neuromod Medical. Samantha graduated from Dublin Institute of Technology in 2011 with a BSc degree and upon graduation she began her career in the tourism and hospitality sector.
Samantha brings a wealth of valuable experience with her to Neuromod Medical as she has worked in customer service roles for over 13 years. During her time working in the Irish travel industry, she managed a busy administration team and assisted in ensuring the smooth running of retail operations. Samantha is greatly passionate about client satisfaction and aims to always go that extra mile.
Lorraine joined the Neuromod Medical team in January 2021 having spent more than five years managing Wellness Spas and large Spa Teams worldwide.
Lorraine recently completed QQI certified upskilling to commence a career with the medical sector in the role of medical secretary bringing with her a wealth of experience liaising with international clients globally. Lorraine strives to achieve the highest levels of client care and satisfaction with all of Neuromod Medical’s patients.
Jack joined Neuromod Medical as a customer service executive in June 2021, bringing with him a wealth of experience accumulated from working in customer service roles in a variety of sectors such as finance and hospitality.
Jack enjoys building rapport with the patients at Neuromod Medical and supporting them in their tinnitus journey. Jack prides himself on always delivering a first class and friendly service.
